Cookies are pieces of information that many web sites store on your computer hard drive for record-keeping purposes when you visit their site. Cookies make using the Internet easier by, among other things, saving your passwords and preferences for you. Cookies also track the pages of other web sites you have visited. Alone, cookies do not provide any personally identifiable information about you, unless you choose to provide that information when you register at a site. Like most web sites, we may use cookies on certain pages of our web site to collect information about our customers. We may also use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests. We use that information to improve our site by examining your site usage and shopping experience. For example, when you register, or participate in any promotion or contest with us, such information might consist of your name, address and e-mail address. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, although your browser may permit you to decline our cookies. For information on configuring your browser to decline cookies, refer to your browser's "help" feature. However, some features of our site may not function or may be slower after disabling the ability to accept cookies. How do we use the information? We may use the information that you provide us to verify your identity, process your orders and requests for products services and information, for billing, to respond to your inquiries and to offer you other products, programs or services that we believe may interest you. Occasionally, we may send to you a request to help us learn more about you, as well as your product interests. We may then use that information to contact you for feedback on our products and services and to help us improve our site and improve your shopping experience at Baltimore.org. How do we protect your privacy and what information do we share with third parties? As a rule, we do not sell any individual information about you and our other customers to any third parties. However, we may disclose your information to third parties in certain circumstances or where we have reason to believe that the law requires such disclosure. We may contract with third parties to assist us in the maintenance and management of our customer information, to communicate with you and to manage our promotions. However, we do not authorize those third parties to use that information for any other purposes. When we offer contests and promotions, or when we join other companies to offer contests and promotions, we, along with the other company, may share customer data for those contests and promotions only. BACVA reserves the right to share information with any third parties that we believe will assist us in achieving our goal to provide you and our customers with the best products, programs and services that we could possibly provide. We may reveal personally identifiable information to law enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies when required to do so or when we in good faith believe it is necessary in order to comply with legal obligations. We will, however, ask all governmental officials to provide us with acceptable reasons that we believe, in our sole discretion, support disclosure of personal information. In the event that BACVA or substantially all of its assets are acquired or reorganized, your information will of course be among the transferred assets. What security measures does BACVA employ?
